Jay Cutler Signed With The Dolphins?

I was at Osheaga this weekend , so the last thing on my mind was what Smokin’ Jay Cutler was up to but it looks like he’s taking his talents to South Beach. After Ryan Tannehill went down with a possible season-ending surgery in training camp, there was no doubt that Miami needed itself a new Quarterback unless you thought Matt Moore was the answer and if that’s the case, you may want to check yourself into an insane asylum.

It’s a shame that Tannehill went down seeing as this was looking like season where he was finally ready to take the next step and with a now 40 year old Tom Brady, the AFC East is poised for the taking… Just kidding we know the Pats are still gonna run over the Dolphins, Bills and the no good, very bad, Jets.

Supposedly Cutler’s wife was instrumental in getting him to sign with the Dolphins, which is quite the scary thought. Call me old fashioned, but I tend to ignore the ideas of people who refuse to vaccinate their kids because they think it might lead to autism. Who would’ve guessed with a guy with that mindset voted for Trump.

If I’m the Dolphins, I am a little concerned with where Cutler’s head is at. It’s quite evident that he has some very serious commitment issues. People forget that him and his wife originally called off their wedding only to reconcile and decide to go through with it. He also bailing on Fox as he was suppose to be a broadcaster for them this year. Gonna be hard to be a locker room leader if there’s always the lingering thought of you just deciding to leave whenever it suits you.

Now I know what you’re thinking. If the Dolphins were in such a need for a quarterback, why didn’t they just go ahead and sign Colin Kaepernick? Beside the fact that his hair is a clear distraction as known good guy Michael Vick pointed out but if you were to look at the stats last year, you’d understand why. In 12 games Kaepernick threw 4 INTs, whilst Smokin’ Jay Culter threw for 4 INTs in only 5 games showing more consistency then Kaepernick and since he was injured for the season, there’s that big “what if” question looming around. Could Jay throw for even more picks? I don’t know but I’m sure as hell excited to find out.
